Tuition fees will be paid after visa approval; however, EMGS fees are required to be deposited initially. After that, the rest of the amount (including tuition fee, caution fee, and ancillary fees) will be deposited after visa approval and 7 days before the flight. Tuition amount is non-refundable; only caution fees are refundable as a security deposit.

Student Visa Process After Arrival in Malaysia

Once a Bangladeshi student’s visa is approved and they arrive in Malaysia, they must complete the following steps:

    Medical Check-Up (Within 3–5 Days of Arrival)
    • Mandatory medical exam at an EMGS-approved clinic in Malaysia.
    • Usually includes blood test, chest X-ray, and urine test (HIV, Hepatitis, Tuberculosis screening).
    • Clinic submits the report directly to EMGS.

    Passport Submission to University/EMGS
    • Submit the original passport to the university’s international office or designated visa center.
    • The university handles the Student Pass (visa sticker) endorsement.

    Issuance of Student Pass (Within 1 Month)
    • After medical clearance, the Immigration Department of Malaysia issues the Student Pass sticker.
    • Initial Student Pass is usually valid for 1 year and must be renewed annually.

    Yearly Visa Renewal Process
    • Submit latest academic results (attendance & performance).
    • Valid passport (at least 12 months validity).

Must Follow These Rules

  • Overstaying is illegal – Always renew the visa at least 1–2 months before expiry.
  • Attendance & CGPA matters – Poor attendance or poor results can lead to visa cancellation.
  • Passport must be valid – Renew your Bangladeshi passport early if needed.
